Mooi Wark — HET GIET GEBEUREN.

The Drenthe band Mooi Wark has been guaranteeing a sizzling mix of farmers' rock bangers and genuine party music since 1992. In their early days they were especially inspired by Normaal and are still sung in rich Drents, because as frontman Bert Koops says: 'I can't do English and my Dutch is too bad.' In the north and east of the Netherlands, Mooi Wark classics such as 'Ik Bien En Blief Een Boer!', 'Tepels Liegen Niet' and (their signature song) 'In De Blote Kont' are on the playlist of every rocker; in the rest of the country Mooi Wark still has some missionary work to do. It's going to happen!
