Nerf Herder , pioneers of the late 90s pop punk and geek rock genres, are coming to our Small Hall on June 2nd, 2026 ! Perhaps best known as "the band that played the title track from Buffy The Vampire Slayer," Nerf Herder were picked up by Arista Records in 1996 after their tongue-in-cheek ode to Van Halen stormed the Modern Rock charts. The video for their follow-up, Sorry , was a regular MTV hit. Featuring Mark Hamill and Miguel Ferrer, this is a playful Star Wars reference that, given the band's name, was to be expected.
This year, the band is celebrating the 30th anniversary of their self-titled debut album with a special European tour, featuring old material. To commemorate this anniversary, a new acoustic version of the debut album was recorded by founding members Steve Sherlock and Parry Gripp, along with longtime band members Ben Pringle and Linus Dotson. This will be available on vinyl at the shows.
