Just under a year ago, The New Candys showed and let us hear on our stage why they are one of the most intriguing names in the international alternative rock scene. Good news, The New Candys are coming back this Friday!

NEW CANDYS – formed around frontman Fernando Nuti (vocals, guitar) and Dario Lucchesi (bass, synths) – is augmented live by Emanuele Zanardo on lead guitar and backing vocals, and Francesco Giacomin on drums and samples. With releases on renowned labels such as Fuzz Club and Dischi Sotterranei, the band delivers both intense, energetic tracks and introspective, atmospheric songs – always with a distinctive edge.

Their impressive live reputation took them to festivals such as SXSW, Levitation France, Fuzz Club Eindhoven, and Liverpool Psych Fest, as well as to iconic venues like the Olympia in Paris and the Roundhouse in London. They shared the stage with acts including The Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Dandy Warhols, and The Black Angels, and were even described by Iggy Pop as “kinky”—eccentric and provocative. Furthermore, New Candys’ music was featured in series like Shameless, and live sessions for KEXP underscore their international appeal.
