Nightbus is a brooding, cinematic duo that fuses post-punk, trip-hop, and nocturnal electronica into something dark, hypnotic, and unmistakably their own. Founded in Manchester (UK) in 2023, their music captures the nervous beauty of city life after closing time — steeped in atmosphere, heavy on bass, and emotionally raw. With haunting vocals, echoing guitars, and minimalist beats, they evoke the spirit of The Knife, Portishead, early The Cure, Chromatics, and The xx, while simultaneously establishing a sound entirely their own.

‍The first demos caught the attention of leading label and magazine So Young, which released two 7-inch singles by the band (one in 2023 and one in 2024), both of which sold out. The singles received support from, among others, BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, The Guardian, NME, The Fader, Brooklyn Vegan, The Line Of Best Fit, Dummy, DIY, and Dork.

‍This was followed by underground shows, with festival appearances at Left Of The Dial, ESNS, Blue Dot, Manchester Psychfest, and Float Along, headline shows at Supersonic in Paris, Manchester, and London, and support shows throughout the UK with Rock Action acts bdrmm.

‍Nightbus released their debut album 'Passenger' in October 2025 via Melodic Records.
