Born in Nairobi and reborn in America, singer-songwriter JS (Jet Stone) Ondara has always sought innovation. His music blends folk and rock with jazz influences and is narrative, warm, and imbued with poetry. With his breakthrough album, "Tales of America," which received a Grammy nomination, and tours with artists like Neil Young and The Lumineers, he established himself as one of the most promising voices of his generation.
After a period of silence and travel, Ondara returns as Jet Stone: his true name and the embodiment of a new chapter. With his band, "The Jet Stone Conspiracy," he will bring his first full-band tour to Europe this winter. Expect reimagined versions of beloved songs and new work that places his poetic folk voice in a fresh, band-driven context.
