One Step Beyond puts a new generation of ska bands from the Netherlands in the spotlight. With three different acts, this evening showcases just how vibrant and versatile the Dutch ska scene is. From energetic live shows to playful pop influences, expect an evening where ska, reggae, and Nederpop come together and standing still is not an option.

Eskalatie
The young Haarlem ska sensation Eskalatie is growing by the day and now takes the stage with no fewer than 13 members. With their infectious energy and full sound, they get any audience moving in no time.

Fietsband
is an up-and-coming Dutch-language ska/pop band from Amsterdam. With up-tempo ska rhythms, playful synthesizers, and catchy lyrics, they deliver an energetic and danceable show that gets no one standing still.

Strak Plan
is a four-piece band with a Dutch-language repertoire. They bring a fresh perspective to Dutch pop as we know it from the 80s. Their own repertoire ranges from reggae to danceable ska, but they also play well-known classics to sing along to.
