Orchestra Baobab was founded in Dakar in 1970 and has since become a pillar of African music. Initially a club band inspired by the Afro-Cuban fever sweeping West Africa, Baobab soon developed a unique style, blending Mandinka, Wolof, and Serer sounds with Latin American rhythms and a timeless sound.

Before Orchestra Baobab unveils their long-awaited new album, the band gave their audience a sneak peek with the release of an exclusive live EP. Recorded during recent performances, this EP showcases the band's raw energy and timeless magic.
