The American rock band POD (a spiritual reference to the financial term Payable On Death) has been around for nearly 35 years with their rousing mix of rap, metal, and rock. The band broke through in 2001 with their fourth album, Satellite, which was a massive success, especially in their home country, yielding hits like Alive, Boom, and Youth Of The Nation—the latter track can safely be called a 2000s classic. On their latest, eleventh album Veritas (2024), POD returns to the sound that made them big: high-energy riffs, pounding drums, and anthem-like choruses!
