A double bill for fans of DEVO, Dinosaur Jr. and Gee Tee

Powerplant and HITMEN come on Wednesday 27 May to Rotown for a double bill, organized by Nospray. Powerplant from London has long been an established name in the synthpunk scene. Expect an all-out punk act that clearly builds on the sound of greats like DEVO and The Screamers. HITMEN, also from London, are known for their 90s alternative rock sound with clear influences from Dinosaur Jr. and Built to Spill. With only one released EP to their name, the band has already built an impressive live reputation.

Nospray is a Rotterdam DIY collective with a sharp ear towards the most exciting bands of tomorrow. Uncompromising and punk, both in the love for music and work ethos, a Nospray line-up gives as much attention to innovators in guitar music as to underrated bands from the past. The local music scene has been flourishing faster than ever since the rise of Nospray, and that is no coincidence.
