Predatory Void emerged from a clash of contrasting backgrounds. Guitarist Lennart Bossu (Amenra, Oathbreaker, Living Gate), known for his atmospheric and introspective sound, began writing heavier, more direct music during the pandemic. He brought together drummer Vincent Verstrepen (Carnation) and guitarist Thijs De Cloedt (Cobra The Impaler, formerly of Aborted), musicians rooted in more straightforward forms of metal, along with vocalist Lina R. (Cross Bringer) and, more recently, bassist/vocalist Kris Auman (ENDLINGR).

The result is an explosive mix of styles: shoegaze, doom, hardcore, black and death metal , held together by emotional charge and raw power. It's a sound as oppressive as it is devastating, and one that will appeal to fans of contemporary alternative metal like Ragana, Agriculture , and Thou.
