What started as a supporting role—Goldband's chauffeur—has unknowingly
become something completely different. Raffie the Driver now takes the stage himself, not as a joke, but as an artist
who makes audiences roar along, laugh, and sometimes even fall silent.
With a voice that balances between a folk song and a half-ironic Dutch pop song, he sings about
longing, doubt, and self-deprecation. It sounds sincere, but never deadly serious; slightly exaggerated, but
with enough edge to resonate.
