Ron Sexsmith
Ron Sexsmith is a three-time Juno Award-winning songwriter from Ontario, Canada. He has written and recorded an extensive and critically acclaimed catalogue of studio albums, beginning with his self-titled debut in 1995. In the past decades Ron has performed in some of the most prestigious halls in the world, such as Massey Hall, Carnegie Hall, the Royal Albert Hall in London and The London Palladium. As a child of melody his music has been described as a mixture of Canadian folk heroes like Gordon Lightfoot and Leonard Cohen with that of The Kinks, the Beatles and other British acts from his formative years. His songs have been covered by many respected artists such as Rod Stewart, kd lang, Emmylou Harris, Michael Bublé, Feist, Elvis Costello and Stevie Nicks, to name a few.
