Roseanne Reid sounds—partly due to the crack in her voice—like a seasoned Americana artist from the United States, but she's a relatively young singer-songwriter from Scotland. Early in her career, she caught the attention of the great Steve Earle, after which the two immediately recorded a duet: Sweet Annie, featured on Reid's debut album, Trails (2019). The follow-up, Lawside, was released in 2023. Her third album is already in the works and will be released in late 2025, so expect plenty of new music tonight.
