A rough diamond is an unpolished gemstone, a pearl whose beauty has yet to be revealed. During the Rough Diamond Festival, the versatility and beauty of the Diamantbuurt (and just beyond), its cultural organizations, and especially the emerging talent are brought to light. On Saturday, June 27, starting at 1:00 PM, the square at Tolstraat, Cullinanplein, and Dora Tamanaplein will fill with circus, music, workshops, an art market, a panna tournament, and more. We conclude with a neighborhood BBQ, and everything is free.
