After making a name for themselves backing top artists from the Tel Aviv scene, the members of Sababa 5 joined forces to form their own dynamic band. Their music is a fluid blend of psychedelic funk, jazz, and Middle Eastern analog sounds, rooted in Mediterranean rhythms. The band effortlessly shifts between dancefloor bangers and hypnotic soul jams, fusing East and West into something completely unique.
In 2025, Sababa 5 released their fourth album, 'Nadir', from their new home base in Paris. It's their most ambitious project to date, with a more introspective and cinematic sound. Live, however, the five-piece remains a celebration of danceable grooves and exhilarating energy, coming to life in the Upper Hall of Paradiso in April 2026.
