SELAH SUE & THE GALLANDS
When jazz mixes with pop
Friday, September 18, 2026

Selah Sue is coming to PAARD on September 18th together with the duo The Gallands! It is an exciting double comeback for the Belgian soul-pop queen, Selah Sue , who, following her first live album, reveals her collaboration with the fantastic father-son duo The Gallands . The father-son duo consists of jazz drummer Stéphane Galland and his son Elvin, himself a keyboardist, producer, musical director, and composer. The trio creates a mix of organic grooves, contemporary jazz, and innovative production. Here, soulful intensity and vibrant live energy come together.

The original plan for an EP quickly grew into a full album, with the intention that all three would be back on stage as soon as possible to prolong this unique experience. This live atmosphere is palpable to the very last note, carried by a wide array of organic instruments, including Federico Pecoraro's bass, guitars, string arrangements, a Rhodes electric keyboard, and the famous subtle drumming of Stéphane Galland, with which he established his reputation. The three identities are strongly felt, connected by Selah Sue's voice.
