Join us for a selection of short artist films in response to ‘shadow circuits’ at MaMA Rotterdam. This programme orients around journeys on cargo ships, unfolding amidst the current precarity of logistics in the context of inflation, labour automation and war. With the sea as a political and poetic backdrop, the films navigate the affect of globalisation and pollution on our resources and the people who labour at different sites along the supply chain. With works by Natasa Efstathiadi, Rosalind Nashashibi, Diana Al Halabi and Mohamed Abdelkarim.
