Sheila E. and The E-Train.
A mix of Latin, jazz, funk and pop.

Sheila E. has been around for a while. She broke through in 1984 with The Glamorous Life (also the start of her collaboration with Prince) but had already had a substantial career behind her. She scored many more hits in the 1980s but then decided to return to her first love: percussion. And with this she will be on Sunday 5 April at Patronaat! In 2024 her first salsa album, Bailar, was released, including a Latin version of The Glamorous Life. Her newest work Hella FonkE has since also been released and she plays not only songs from that but also from her extensive catalogue. The result is an energetic, rhythmic show full of improvisation and personal stories. With her band E-Train she brings a show in which her rich musical background plays a leading role!
