The Dutch-Californian artist Jeike moves somewhere between two worlds. Five years ago, she traded the sandy beaches of Santa Cruz for Amsterdam, where she followed her Dutch roots and began a new chapter. That experience of leaving, starting over, and slowly finding a home elsewhere forms the basis of her music.
In her songs, Jeike blends indie-folk with themes such as identity, belonging, and homesickness. They are stories about getting lost in new streets, putting down roots and uprooting, and the feeling of living with one foot in multiple worlds.
This quest comes together on her debut album 'Skinny Dipping', an intimate debut about finding a place to finally call home.
