Club night focused on dance by the Utrecht dance community
'Darling, don't ever be too shy to dance your heart out'

An evening where standing still isn't an option, and you lose yourself in a sense of freedom. Social Dance Club Night is a club night where dance takes center stage. The best disco/funky/house selections by Social Dance Club's resident DJ, paired with the stirring lyrics of Miss Sunshine, will transport you to an extraordinary club experience.

Social Dance Club is a dance community from Utrecht that stands for embracing your unique essence. A community united by their love of music and dance. They are especially dedicated to the dance style " Whacking ," a disco dance style that originated in the 1970s in the underground Black and Latino gay club scene of Los Angeles.

The night will kick off with a dance party with the Social Dance Experience . This is a program component you can register for separately. Led by Miss Sunshine and the DJ, you'll be immersed in the world of social dance for an hour. As we dance, we'll create an atmosphere of connection, letting go, and the ultimate feeling of freedom. The Social Dance Experience is open to anyone who loves to dance and share their passion. There's room for 60 participants, so be quick. Note: Make sure you arrive by 11:00 PM, as the experience starts promptly at 11:15 PM.

After the Social Dance Experience sets the tone, the clubbing night begins, and this free-spirited energy carries through the rest of the night. Expect a mesmerizing dance performance from Rays of Sunshine and be immersed in the amazing selections of our resident DJ.
