Sonic Journey is a lying or sitting listening experience that takes you on a musical journey through time. This edition focuses on the birth and rise of house and techno. A story that begins in Jamaica, features artists such as Donna Summer, Grandmaster Flash, and Kraftwerk, and, via Frankie Knuckles and Juan Atkins, leads through Chicago and Detroit before finally ending in Europe—and thus also in Paradiso.

Through carefully selected tracks, sound fragments, and stories, connections become audible that you might normally miss: between styles and pioneers, and from the roots of a genre to its influence on other music and cultures.

In addition to the music and the story, you will experience what it feels like to listen without distraction. This is becoming less and less commonplace, even though listening to music consciously can help you unwind, something most of us could use.
