SONS OF NODE release party with Jesco + Bloodcrypt & Spit for the Masses

Sons of Node's second album, 'Consequence of Abundance,' is out on May 15, 2026. That calls for a celebration, and what better way to celebrate than with a release party at dB's! Of course, they won't be coming alone, but with some raucous, rowdy friends!

Sons of Node, hailing from Utrecht, are back to blow you away with a blast of sludge. Straight after their European tour with The Midnight Ghost Train last summer, they hit the studio to record their new album. Dissonant, swampy, and more chaotic than ever: these words perfectly describe what Sons of Node is all about with their new album. The trio has been a fixture in the heavier underground scene for years and has built a reputation as a band that prefers to run over you rather than take you by the hand.

Jesco from Utrecht, these filthy folk 'n' rollers are of course well-known at dB's. These three gentlemen couldn't be missed at this release party. Their music sounds like cheap whiskey: sharp, dirty, but intoxicating. With a washboard you can't get at the gym, double basses that will rock your back, and banjo jokes that last for days, Jesco is a real treat. There's no shortage of singalongs, dancers, and swayers!

Bloodcrypt, the five-piece death metal/hardcore band from Tilburg. HM-2, for goodness sake! Riffs that sound like chainsaws, that's what we're all about. You could also call Bloodcrypt a Tilburg underground supergroup, featuring members of bands like Noctambulist, Treurwilg, Discreator, Thuig, and Outlaw Resident. These guys really know how to get a room moving, and they'll be tearing the dBs to pieces.

Spit for the Masses hail from Arnhem with their unruly and miserable racket. Blastbeats from the east of the country! The foursome blends elements of black metal, grindcore, post-punk, and shoegaze into a hard-hitting, energetic, yet melodic whirlwind of sound. Expect lightning-fast blastbeats, raw vocals, and a generous dose of guitar violence, interspersed with lighter, at times even danceable passages.
