Sosocamo grew up in rural North Carolina, where he began experimenting with his own sound as a teenager in his parents' basement. At nineteen, he met Grayto, his executive producer and partner, who introduced him to the digital underground hip-hop scene. Together, they built a world from a DIY foundation that balances between Southern trap, melodic pop, and experimental underground rap. This led to his debut album, "No Service," in 2025, driven by the hits "Keep Steady" and "Soulless."

With "Big Country," due out in 2026, he continues that trend convincingly. Where "no service" laid the foundation, this new album sounds more energetic and versatile. The first singles "200" and "say dat" already provide direction, with "200" even receiving a striking co-sign from Justin Bieber. In the spring of 2026, he'll embark on his first world tour, with a stop in the Bovenzaal on May 17th.
