Stef Kamil Carlens & The Poem will be performing at De Nieuwe Kerk for an evening full of goosebumps. Along with vocalists and multi-instrumentalists Nel Ponsaers and Rahmat Emonds, SKC will play new material, reworked original songs, and beautiful gems from the world of singer-songwriters. Nel and Rahmat are known from The Swoon, with whom Carlens released the acclaimed album Be(e) Who You Wanna Be(e). With guitars, bass, keyboards, analog synths, and clever percussion, they create a small yet rich sound, perfect for the acoustics of De Nieuwe Kerk.

With The Poem, he now opts for a more minimalist setting: vocals are central, but all three also perform as soloists. This gives each song its own unique perspective and emotional world.
