Almost 50 years ago, Crass turned the anarcho-punk scene upside down with their debut album 'The Feeding of the 5000'. In 2026, the Steve Ignorant Band returns to Amsterdam with the greatest classics from the Crass repertoire, including iconic tracks like 'Punk is Dead', 'Nagasaki Nightmare', and 'Banned from the Roxy'.
Crass is regarded as the most radical band of the first wave of English punk. With their anarchist message and do-it-yourself mentality, they laid the foundation for the anarcho-punk movement.
The band consists of: Steve Ignorant (vocals), Carol Hodge (vocals and keyboards), Pete Wilson (lead guitar), Pete Rawlinson (bass guitar), and Jay Bagnall (drums).
