The American guitar band Sugar, led by Bob Mould (formerly of Hüsker Dü), had a career that was as short as it was explosive in the first half of the 1990s. Their debut album, Copper Blue (1992), yielded the single "If I Can't Change Your Mind," a major hit on the alternative circuit. After their excellent second album, File Under: Easy Listening (1994), Sugar broke up, but they've been back together since 2025, and how: their new single, "House Of Dead Memories," could easily have been on Copper Blue. As Bob Mould himself says: "The long pause is over. I'm excited to hit the PLAY button. See you in 2026!"
