SUUNS + Kelman Duran

SUUNS is an experimental rock band from Canada, formed in 2007 by the duo Ben Shemie and Joe Yarmush. Their sound balances between accessible and alienating: dark electronics, pulsating beats, and tight rock patterns carry singer Ben Shemie's whispering vocals. Their debut album, Zeroes QC (2010), set the tone with a hypnotic, physical energy that truly shines live. The band leaves a lasting impression wherever they perform worldwide and has built a solid reputation as a live band over the past sixteen years. Their most recent album, The Breaks , from 2024, reveals a band that continues to explore the tension between melody and experimentation, danceability and alienation.
