Talma, Lotterman & Dee
'Not yet, but on the way'
Saturday 19 September 2026
Musicians Meindert Talma, Mark Lotterman and poet Daniël Dee are coming to PAARD! An evening for those who love idiosyncratic words and special songs or special words and idiosyncratic songs. Both Talma and Lotterman will release a new album in 2026, and Dee will publish a new collection. Lots of new stuff then, but certainly also room for earlier work.
Talma, Lotterman and Dee will perform solo.
Meindert Talma — Songwriter
The songwriter grew up in the Frisian village Surhuisterveen, where he took organ lessons for years from the organist of the Reformed Church. After obtaining his Church Organ B-diploma he decided to start his music career. He is now 20 records further, all released on the renowned Excelsior Recordings.
In April 2026 his new CD/LP will be released: Celluloid Illusions, with songs about Dutch actors and directors from the 1970s.
Mark Lotterman — Songwriter
"For many years one of the Netherlands' strongest and most valuable song lyricists, performers and artists", so Lucky Fonz III describes Rotterdammer Lotterman. After a pause of 6 years he returned in 2024 with idiosyncratic Dutch-language music. Accessible and profound, humorous and sad, realistic and absurd. Recognizable characters in Dutch drama.
In April 2026 his third Dutch-language album in 2 years will be released: Indien later, dan ook nu
Daniël Dee — Poet
As city poet of Rotterdam he released more than ten collections, wrote two novels, published in various magazines, was heard as house poet at KINK Fm and was seen on stages like Lowlands and Poetry International.
In April 2026 a new collection will be published, in which each poem ends with the last words of Emily Dickinson: "I must go in, the mist is lifting".
A hard worker then, with a love for absurd detail and frighteningly honest self-examination.
