It's hard to imagine when you listen to their massive fuzzy garage punk, but Teen Mortgage is actually a duo. Two guys from Washington D.C. who found each other on the shady classifieds site Craigslist and came together out of a shared love for East Coast hardcore, garage sleaze, and surf rock. Oh right, and they're both pretty pissed off about the state of the world too.

They capture their frustrations about life in a technological-feudal capitalist fever dream in music. Little bombs of aggression with an addictive pop edge that could easily be the soundtrack of the revolution, or the background music for your new skate video. In any case: Teen Mortgage is on a rampage, and they’re making sure we know it. After support shows for Weezer and a European headlining tour, they are returning to De Helling. And don't think for a moment that they’re going to take it easy.
