After a triumphant year of live performances in 2025, The Boxer Rebellion returns to select stages with the release of 'The Second I'm Asleep' on March 27, 2026, an album that sees the band truly blossom.

The ten tracks form an emotional map of life: moments of clarity in the midst of chaos, letting go of old thoughts and the art of understanding ourselves in a rapidly changing world.

Recorded during an intense creative writing session, the recordings were driven by one clear challenge: to put instinct over analysis and create music full of energy, spontaneity and truth.

Nicholson's distinctive vocals weave captivating melodies through the band's precise and powerful soundscapes, resulting in an album brimming with color and grace. Considerable time and attention was devoted to ensuring the album's sonic world is as meaningful as its message, with the band enlisting the help of producers Rees Broomfield, Billy Bush, and Kevin Grainger.
