The Free Label is a six-piece band from Toronto that fuses the energy of 70s disco, 90s R&B, and funk into a danceable and captivating live show. Their 2019 single "All Night" led to international tours across Europe, North America, and Australia. They played major Canadian festivals like Mariposa Folk Festival and the Calgary Stampede, opening for acts like T-Pain, Aqua, and Lupe Fiasco. In 2024, they released their album "Songs for Sienna," which earned them a spot on the Amazon Music Billboard in Dundas Square, Toronto. In the studio, the band collaborated with Grammy-nominated artists like saxophonist Braxton Cook, featured on their song "Shine," and producer Aaron Paris (Drake, Kanye West, Kali Uchis), who provided the string arrangements for their latest single, "Real Love."
