The Kooks started their illustrious career in 2006 with the release of their debut album 'Inside In / Inside Out', featuring hits like 'She Moves In Her Own Way', 'Naive', and 'You Don't Love Me'. The debut album was defining for indie music in the 2000s; the initial releases set the sound of a specific era. The band is now almost twenty years and a lot of albums further along, including The Kooks' most recent work titled 'Never/Know', which was released this past May. 'Never/Know' is the seventh studio album by Luke Pritchard and his bandmates, and it was received with much praise: they achieved their highest chart position in 17 years with it. The album will be performed alongside classics by The Kooks in their upcoming tour.
The Kooks continually attract a new generation of fans with music that has now developed into a clear and recognizable style. Over the years, the quartet has experimented a bit, and their music shifted from indie rock to synth pop and krautrock, but The Kooks still unmistakably deliver Britpop. In recent years, the Britons have headlined festivals and sold out shows worldwide. The last time the Britons performed their own show in the Netherlands was in 2023.
