Not many bands are still relevant after thirty years like The Notwist. Time and again, the beloved German band manages to reinvent themselves, seeking adventure with genres for each album. This is fundamentally indie rock with excursions into electronica, but also the influences of jazz and hip-hop repeatedly emerge. Brothers Markus and Micha Acher and band members released the album 'Vertigo Days' at the beginning of 2021, coming very close to the magic of the breakthrough album 'Neon Golden' (2002). But of course with new elements, like contributions from guest musicians such as Juana Molina, Ben LaMar Gay, and Angel Bat Dawid. A new album is on the way.
