The Undertones celebrate fifty years of sharp punk and power pop from Derry. In 1978, the band broke through with 'Teenage Kicks', which BBC legend John Peel played twice in a row. This was followed by hits such as 'Here Comes The Summer', 'Jimmy Jimmy' and 'My Perfect Cousin', plus four acclaimed albums. After a sixteen-year hiatus, The Undertones returned in 1999 with singer Paul McLoone, who brought the repertoire to life with new energy. Their catchy, short songs and energetic shows still make them a crowd favorite, whether at festivals or in venues. Five decades later, the band proves that good pop songs never lose their shine.
