The Village presents I AM THE AVALANCHE + BONY MACARONI
The career of the American band I Am The Avalanche spans well over twenty years, and after a flying start in the early decades of this century with the highly acclaimed albums I Am The Avalanche and Avalanche United, and the Vans Warped tour, things went quiet for a while around these Brooklyn-based rockers.
In 2020, the album Dive was released, followed last April by the brand-new The Horror Show, a layered and emotional album about the loss of a dear friend. Without denying their punk roots but with a deeper emotional layer, I Am The Avalanche demonstrates that they remain an absolute top act in the pop-punk genre and are not afraid to sound emo or even hardcore.
Exclusive EU mainland show fixed by The Village!
Support comes from Bony Macaroni. After the acclaimed 'The Big Bucks', the band returns with 'Death Drive', a grimmer but just as catchy album. “No build-up, no hopeful climax; a soundtrack for twenty-somethings in the new 20s,” says singer Stefan. Despite the dark themes, the energy remains unmistakable: Bony Macaroni knows how to strip away raw emotions with a knowing wink and infectious emo-punk riffs.
