Tinlicker will tour Europe and the United Kingdom in 2026.
During the shows on the tour the Dutch electronic act will perform for the first time as a trio: singer and producer Hero Baldwin officially joins Tinlicker.
After previous joint performances and collaborations, including the single I Started A Fire (April 2024), Baldwin now becomes part of the permanent lineup. The three already shared the stage last summer at the Melkweg and at Tinlicker In The Park in the Crystal Palace Bowl in London.
The addition of Hero Baldwin, with her clear voice and own songwriting style, fits Tinlickers mix of melodic electronica, vocals and live elements. Since 2020 the three have been writing music together.
Baldwin on the collaboration:
Jordi and Micha seem to pull something out of me that resonates with my emotional landscape every time we make a song. I think it is so important to feel creatively and emotionally secure, and Jordi and Micha always afford me that privilege.
Besides the tour Tinlicker also announces new music. The single I Want My Freedom was released on 10 October via Remember the Future/[PIAS] and is co written by Baldwin. The song combines piano sounds, rhythmic percussion and a melodic synth line with the characteristic voice of Baldwin.
These lyrics circled in my mind for a long time says Hero. I started writing from that feeling of disconnection as a woman in my mid twenties with a sharp awareness of the world moving backwards. But over time the song grew into something bigger. I Want My Freedom is not just about me, it is about all of us. The heartbreaking truth is that the abuse of freedoms reaches far beyond gender. I wanted to create a song of inclusion, with a nod to what I personally feel I have lost. Freedom is never handed to us, it is something we fight for, and I no longer have that softness in me to apologise for that.
The song is the prelude to Tinlickers fourth studio album, which will be released in early 2026.
