For 57 years, Tower of Power has been delivering the best in funk and soul. Since 1968, the group has been scoring hit after hit, and now they're coming to Haarlem for the first time during a swinging concert we're organizing with PHIL on Monday, May 25th!
Songs like "You're Still A Young Man," "Down To The Nightclub," "So Very Hard To Go," and "What Is Hip?" were huge hits back in the day, and the band still records and tours the world. They've played with Otis Redding, Elton John, Santana, the Grateful Dead, John Lee Hooker, Aerosmith, Bonnie Raitt, and many others. Now, for over 50 years, they've been playing their Oakland soul sound, and their spirit remains unchanged.
