On Thursday, June 18, we kick off the international blues dance festival Trippin' Blues Amsterdam at De Nieuwe Anita with a cozy, late-night blues dance party. Expect deep grooves, slow drags, and playful shuffles to live music by Jerome and Danny de Vijlder, plus DJs who know exactly how to keep a packed room moving. Admission is 15 euros at the door – no partner or dance experience needed, just shoes you can dance in and a love for live music.

On Tuesday, June 23, we return to De Nieuwe Anita for our open stage after-after party: the most relaxed evening of the week, where anything can happen. Festival attendees and friends jump onto the stage, surprise each other with songs, acts, and whatever else you want to share with the audience; we transform the backroom into a friendly, slightly chaotic Blues hangout. Admission is donation-based: give what you can, stay as long as you like.
