The Chinese-Canadian pop and R&B singer Tyler Shaw broke through in 2022 when his track Love You Still (a reworking of abcdefu by GAYLE) went viral on TikTok. The creator of catchy, romantically tinged pop music had already been active for ten years, with increasing success – he has supported greats like Selena Gomez and (his compatriot) Shawn Mendes. Shaw has more in common with the latter: both excel in catchy, sensitive songs often with an acoustic base. On March 20, the single Run To You was released – Shaw promises more new work this spring!
