WAR
Why Can’t We Be Friends? – 50th Anniversary Tour.

The American funk band WAR is one of the most eclectic bands of the 1970s, with an exciting overall sound that combines rhythm & blues, funk, soul, rock, Latin, and jazz. Live, the band is known for long jams, but WAR also delivered punchy singles, such as their first hit "Spill the Wine" (then featuring Eric Burdon of The Animals on vocals), "The Cisco Kid," "Why Can't We Be Friends?", "Slippin' Into Darkness," and "The World Is a Ghetto." WAR has undergone many lineup changes, but is still fronted by singer/co-founder Leroy "Lonnie" Jordan!
