The Scottish band Wet Wet Wet broke through in the late eighties with their soulful mix of pop, soft rock, and blue-eyed soul. It was the era of stadium acts, Top of the Pops, and a British music scene in which bands like Simply Red and Deacon Blue dominated the charts. Amidst this, Wet Wet Wet managed to stand out with romantic ballads and catchy melodies. In their career, the band scored an impressive series of hits: a total of 27 Top 40 singles, including three number 1 hits. Today, the band consists of bassist Graeme Clark and guitarist Graeme Duffin, along with singer Kevin Simm, who took over from Marti Pellow in 2018. Simm brings fresh energy and an incredible voice: he won The Voice UK in 2016 and previously made a name with Liberty X.
