White Denim
Seventies psych-soul-jazz-funk rock for body and soul

Ah, the seventies. The time when rock 'n' roll was still about precision, endlessly drawn-out guitar solos, and inimitable time signatures. White Denim is one of the last living examples of this endangered species. These four Texans have dedicated their musical lives to studying rock heroes from the golden years of the '70s, but add something entirely new to the mix. A kind of 'stupidity' (their words, not ours!), an outburst of pure rock 'n' roll that makes you spontaneously want to drink, dance, and fight.

Frontman James Petralli and his friends make music for body and mind. A kind of manic combination of psych rock, dub, punk, blues, prog, jazz, and funk. An intense sound with which they have been traveling the world for over ten years. But wait, why write a lyrical announcement when we can let the global rock press do the dirty work? Check out this memorable quote from The Guardian, for example: 'the last real rock 'n' roll band'. Or – even better – the words of Time Out: 'the best live band you will ever see in your entire life, even if you live to be a million years old.' So what in God's name are you waiting for? Hoist your ancient bones out of your chair and come dance to the primal rock 'n' roll feeling of White Denim!
