Winnie Raeder grew up in Aabenraa, a small fjord town in the south of Denmark. As a teenager she wrote songs that she kept to herself; dark and intimate, in sharp contrast with the cheerful exterior she showed the world. She has now learned to embrace her own vulnerability. Her sound moves between soulful folk and alt-pop with electronic influences; music that moves and stimulates.

On her debut EP 'I Could Swim', which was released in 2022 and was written in her studio on the river in Copenhagen and recorded in London, she explores what it means to let go of control. The songs explore themes such as love, loss and emotion. This year she is active again with new singles, including the cover 'God Only Knows' and the songs 'You In The Sea' and 'In The Morning'.
