DUTCH PSYCH, FUNK AND DISC BAND RETURNS FOR EKKO'S 40TH ANNIVERSARY

The Maastricht quartet YĪN YĪN brings disco, funk, and psychedelia together into an irresistible, groove-driven sound. What started as an experimental jam session grew into an international live sensation, with shows at festivals such as Lowlands, North Sea Jazz, and Fuji Rock, and in sold-out venues throughout Europe.

With their fourth album 'Yatta!', they further deepen their distinctive style, with strong influences from Italo-disco, among others. On the album, the band moves effortlessly between energetic tracks and more layered, hypnotic compositions. Following previous sold-out shows, YĪN YĪN returns to EKKO as part of the anniversary celebrations for a show that will leave no one standing still.
