Brothers Brian and Diarmuid Mac Gloinn started out as buskers and together form the heart of the Irish folk band Ye Vagabonds, which has since grown into a powerful collective. Their sonically unique ensemble features layered acoustic and electric guitars, trumpet, double bass, Moog synthesizer, harmonium, bouzouki, fiddle, and the blood-tinged harmonies of their distinctive, multi-colored voices. Described as the new wave of Irish folk, they have already won awards for Best Song, Best Album, and Best Folk Group at the RTÉ Radio 1 Folk Awards. Their upcoming and highly anticipated studio album, All Tied Together, was recorded largely live in an old house in Galway under the guidance of renowned producer Phil Weinrobe (Big Thief, Adrienne Lenker), and is due for release in January 2026. Make sure your vocal cords are lubricated, because Ye Vagabonds are not afraid of a singalong (or two)!
