For over 40 years, the Yellowjackets have been among the pinnacle of international jazz fusion. With 25 studio albums, 17 Grammy nominations (including two wins), and countless sold-out tours worldwide, they have left a lasting mark on modern jazz. The band formed in the late 1970s as Robben Ford's backing band but quickly evolved into an independent ensemble with a unique and timeless sound. Since then, they have become one of the most influential, virtuosic, and beloved jazz groups in the world. The current lineup—Russell Ferrante, William Kennedy, Bob Mintzer, and Dane Alderson—brings a perfect blend of experience, innovation, and boundless musicality. Their sound combines complex harmonies, subtle grooves, and masterful improvisation, resulting in a live experience that is both technically brilliant and deeply emotional.
