Amos Lee

Amos Lee is no longer an unknown figure in Paradiso, but his last visit dates back to 2019. His 'blue eyed soul' with a folk and rock twist here and there has been touching his listeners for years. 'Mission Bell' from 2011 is sometimes called his big breakthrough, but the American has been delivering gems since 2005. According to him, the clear gospel and blues influences in his music come from greats such as Stevie Wonder, Neil Young, John Prine, Bill Withers and James Taylor, but he has also been able to call himself a musical hero for some time.

Lee's eleventh studio album 'Transmissions' saw the musician go back to basics. Together with his band, they recorded the album live, playing for hours on end. Eventually, those hours of material resulted in 12 songs, which together make up the album.
