In 2021, Morgenshtern was named the most listened to Russian artist by Spotify, which is not surprising when you consider that the rapper has scored one hit after another in his home country. He now lives in the Emirates and continues to go viral with his music.

Morgenshtern, born Alisher Tagirovich Valeyev, rose to fame by posting parodies of famous artists on his YouTube channel. Later, he decided to make music himself, and that was not without success. His debut album was streamed more than five million times in 11 hours and he was named the most successful Russian artist of 2020. In 2020, he decided to leave his home country and since then he has increasingly spoken out against the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
