The Australian guitar pop duo broke through in 2022 with the catchy single 'Oysters in My Pocket'. It immediately earned them a spot in Spotify's leading RADAR list. The band now has several EPs and a debut album under their belt, which together account for hundreds of millions of streams. The duo works closely together, which means they can often release new music quickly. Royel Otis is also not averse to a nice cover every now and then: their versions of 'Linger' and 'Murder on the Dancefloor' stormed the charts worldwide.

The duo, consisting of Royel Maddell and Otis Pavlovic, started making music together in 2019. Their debut EP Campus was released in 2021, followed by Bar & Grill (2022) and Sofa Kings (2023). In 2024, they released their first full-length album Pratts & Pain , which entered the Australian album charts at number 10. Their style combines elements of indie pop, alternative rock and new wave, with influences from The Cure and Phoenix, among others. In addition to their own work, they are also active live in Australia, Europe and the US and were named as one of the “25 Artists to Watch in 2024” by The Grammys.
