The English singer Arlo Parks broke through in 2021 with her debut album Collapsed In Sunbeams, an album full of fresh indie pop, soul, and electronics, topped with Parks' warm, sometimes almost whispering voice. Parks combines the subtle grooves of Lianne La Havas with the vulnerable lyrics of Phoebe Bridgers, although she also cites Radiohead and Joni Mitchell as sources of inspiration. On her third album Ambigious Desire (to be released on April 3, 2026), Parks takes a new direction: the first singles Heaven and 2SIDED feature a sultry club sound with elements of house, techno, and UK garage!
